When is Deadpool 3 coming out? Release window explained

The long-awaited Deadpool threesome is finally here!

Deadpool 3 has been in development for a long time. Since Disney’s acquisition of distributor 20th Century Fox in 2019, some have wondered if The Mouse House would continue development of the R-rated superhero film. Ultimately though, it seems like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel with the film’s status. Here is When is Deadpool 3 expected to come out.

Deadpool 3 release date

After the initial announcement, Disney and Marvel have confirmed that Deadpool 3 will only be slightly delayed: it will now be released on November 8, 2024. Thankfully, this isn’t an extremely long delay, as the release is now slated to be just two months after its originally scheduled September 6 release.

The original release was announced in a comedic video on Reynolds’ Twitter page discussing news about the upcoming film. In the video, Reynolds reiterated that Deadpool 3 would be the character’s entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while surprisingly announcing that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine would be joining the film in some way.

However, it seems that the film is now coming just a bit later than we had hoped. Disney and Marvel didn’t give a reason why the film is being delayed, but it appears to be just part of a major scheduling shakeup between the two. Five upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films have had their release dates changed and Deadpool 3’s earlier date is now occupied by Blade, who Marvel recently hit the pause button while looking for a new director.

That’s all we know when Deadpool 3 will be released. While you wait for the film’s 2024 release, find out about the previous Deadpool films now that their R-rated cuts are available on Disney+.
