Where can I find tactical cameras in the DMZ?

In Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ, players mainly use ammo boxes, armor boxes and revival pistols as field upgrades. Tactical Camera is also an in-game gear, but it’s essentially useless. However, there is a Tier 2 White Lotus Faction mission called Smuggling Tunnels that requires you to use this item in the DMZ.

Where can I find tactical cameras in the DMZ?

The guaranteed way to take a tactical camera into the DMZ is over equip it in your loadout. Before you enter a game, go to weaponsThen field upgrade, and select the Tactical Camera. With that, you’ll have that gear when you spawn.

You can also find tactical cameras through looting, but that can take forever as the chances of finding an item in such a large loot pool are very slim. However, you should look into loot caches where field upgrades typically spawn, i.e. Tool Boxes, Duffle Bags, and Supply Crates.

Tactical Camera bug in DMZ – May be patched in the future

If you have a teammate who brings the tactical camera as part of their gear, you can easily complete the Smuggling Tunnels challenge near the underground cave network. If you want to complete this mission alone, it is possible thanks to a persistent glitch. To get an additional tactical camera in the DMZ without looting, follow the steps below:

• Start by throwing your tactical camera at one of the tunnel entrance doors.
• Move a little away from the planted camera and open your backpack inventory.
• Even if you don’t see anything in your field upgrade area (first image), use the drop option.
• This should drop the tactical camera, which you can pick up again and use a second time. This glitch only worked for us once, but luckily we only needed it once.
