“Honestly, we have many ways to score goals,” said Jackrabbits head coach Eric Henderson. each KEYC. “We have many players who can score goals in different ways. So I love our flexibility, I love our flexibility. We’re just trying to look at what we’re doing well, why we’re playing well in attack and what can we do a little bit better.”

SDSU has double-digit scorers with Baylor Scheierman, Douglas Wilson and Zeke Mayo. Scheierman averaged 14.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Wilson scored 14.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per night. Mayo added 10 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

Rocky Kreuser leads Bison with 15.8 points and 8 rebounds per game.

“Every game is important in the conference,” Kreuser told the media on Tuesday. “So we just looked at the next opportunity.”

This season has not been easy for Bison when top strikers Sam Griesel and Grant Nelson were injured. Bison also lost Andrew Morgan to injury.

“You have a mentality that you’re going to play the next day and then get the news about the game being postponed but when is it only possible to worry about what we can control,” Kreuser said. per KVRR. “Keeping that mentality right when it comes to all the games and then when you leave it all there you can look down at the scoreboard and see if you win.”

Bison looks to get in the best health possible and make a big run at the end of the season. The NDSU won the Summit League last season after qualifying for the NCAA two previous seasons in 2019 and 2020.
