A Second Chance at Love was filmed in Canada, primarily in the Vancouver area. Parade reported. According to IMDbThe film was made under the working title “I Do Again”. As listed on the UBCP/ACTRA Films and Productions List, the film was shot in Canada from January 22 to February 9. A listing by the Film & Television Industry Alliance confirmed It was filmed in the Vancouver area.

In early February, Reuben shared this photo and wrote, “I’ve just had a long day of filming and my hair is so happy not to be wearing a wig anymore! I love my natural curls!!”

On Jan. 24, she shared photos she took from her hotel room and said she couldn’t reveal what she was working on just yet. (That was right before the big announcement.)

On February 13, August shared this photo and said Reuben is her “wonderful co-star.”

La Salle said that while he’s focused on directing and writing, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make this film with Reuben and be reunited on screen.

Reuben wrote, “It’s wonderful to join the Hallmark family and reunite with Eriq after so many years, especially in a completely different genre of storytelling!”

She wrote in response to a comment: “It was wonderful to work together again 💕”

She and La Salle have made numerous news appearances while preparing for the film’s premiere.

Meet the cast

The synopsis reads, “Alicia and Arnold’s marriage is not fine. Rather than face the issue, Alicia dives into her divorced parents’ affairs by offering them a dating app.”

Gloria Reuben is Brenda. Reuben previously starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame film Little John. She also starred in Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise. On “ER,” Reuben portrayed Jeanie Boulet for 103 episodes.

On February 9, he struck a deal with Ebony Magazine Imprint Sourcebooks for a crime thriller series. When he shared the news on Instagram he wrote, “So 10 years ago I wrote my very first novel and it was flatly rejected by all publishers in the industry. So I wrote my second one and the same thing happened. And then I wrote another one and another one and yet every day I get up and work on another one. We don’t control when or if our dreams strike, but we do control our courage and discipline to keep pushing ourselves to the top and keep swinging. HARD WORK WINS!!!”
