Where was Alba filmed?
Alba was filmed entirely in Spain, in the province of Alicante and the autonomous community of Madrid.
Principal photography for the series began in June 2020 and filming lasted six months before concluding in December of the same year.
Season 1 of Alba was filmed during the pandemic and the production team implemented strict protocols during filming.
Filming locations in the province of Alicante
The Alicante province of the Valencian Community hosted much of the series, with many sets used for filming, including Bol Nou beach in Villajoyosa.
Crucial scenes were also filmed in the Serra Gelada Natural Park, as well as in the municipality of Finestrat, in the comarca of Marina Baixa.
In addition, the series also featured the historical community of Madrid, which is home to several tourist attractions.

The series first premiered on Atresplayer Premium in March 2021 before arriving on Netflix last week.
