Professional caterer Goldy Berry (DeLoach) throws a lavish barbecue for her childhood friend, acclaimed realtor Susie Craig (Amanda May, “Fragments”). Later that night, she is shocked to find that Susie’s grill exploded after the event ended, killing her. Goldy’s professional reputation comes under fire when people realize she was the last one to use the grill. On a mission to clear her name, Goldy reunites with Detective Tom Schultz (Walker) to find out who is behind this mysterious explosion. As they dig through manipulative partygoers, heated gossip and dark secrets, the list of suspects grows with household names ranging from business associates to ex-spouses. Goldy and Tom realize the killer may be closer to them than they initially thought.

Nikki DeLoach is Goldy in the film. According to her bio, “she was considered one of television’s ‘hottest moms’,” based on her portrayal of Lacey Hamilton on MTV’s “Awkward.” DeLoach has received a number of accolades to her name, including guest appearances on a number of popular television shows such as NCIS, Criminal Minds, CSI, CSI: NY, Cold Case, Mad Men, and “Without a trace”. She was also a series regular on North Shore.

In her free time, DeLoach is a co-founder of What We Are, described as “a community of women celebrating their unfiltered selves.” She is also a supporter and spokesperson for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Alzheimer’s Association. She teaches acting classes at Warner Loughlin Studios.
