Meet the cast
Hallmark’s summary is:
Hannahs (Newbrough) reduced her life and work to a science. As a climate scientist and avalanche expert, she has dedicated her career to developing avalanche forecasting technology that will help keep the danger at bay for those in the mountains. When news of her amazing system travels all the way to Glacier National Park, she is invited to install her gear and teach her program to the mountain rescue team. Eager to share this life-saving technology, Hannah makes her way to Glacier National Park, where she is greeted by Chris (Huszar), the Director of Mountain Rescue. Chris is confident, tough, handsome… and skeptical. Things are a bit frosty between them at first. The way he sees it, Hannah may have her science and her data, but he has real-world experience. Chris doesn’t need an algorithm telling him how to navigate the terrain. However, he begins to thaw when he realizes that Hannah, like him, just wants to save lives. And they soon discover that it’s love – not an avalanche – that’s knocking them both off their feet, even though they still disagree with the avalanche predictions. One afternoon, Chris is called on an emergency rescue mission to a location that Hannah’s technology has marked as a high-risk area. Hannah fears an avalanche is coming and Chris is right in her way. With time running out, Hannah must convince Chris to let science guide him, as it will surely lead him not only back to safety, but straight into the romance of his life.”
