The two main filming locations of The Undeclared War were Barry in Wales and Bristol in England.
A look inside the Barry locations, bustle reports that the crew was spotted filming in Whitmore Bay in 2021. You can check out a list of other specific Barry spots below:

As for the locations in Bristol where the crew filmed, Bristol world states that the camp scenes were shot at Redcliffe Wharf. East Street in Bedminster was also used for scenes where the public violently clashed with officers.
Not only that, Bristol connoisseurs can also spot the Cash Hall at Bristol City Hall, used for the offices of the Russian internet agency, while residential streets such as Mayfield Park North in Fishponds and Gratitude Road in Greenbank have also become episodes.
“We are certain that Whitmore Bay will make a great location”
Ahead of the Channel 4 broadcast of The Undeclared War, Bustle reports that a spokesman for the Vale of Glamorgan Council reported on the team’s filming in Barry:
“We are very pleased to welcome the cast and crew to Barry. The Vale of Glamorgan offers a variety of picturesque settings to film, from striking coastlines to idyllic villages, and this is the latest high quality production to visit here.”
They continued, “We’re certain Whitmore Bay will be a great location for the drama and we can’t wait to tune in.”
Bristol World similarly reports that Bristol has proven to be a good choice.
“Bristol Film Office has been incredibly helpful in finding and overseeing a variety of film locations in and around the area for The Undeclared War,” revealed series producer Robert Jones.
