With the final season of Bachelor in Paradise coming to an end, the cast is weighing the season — and what’s to come.
There was no shortage of drama in Season 8, but despite many ups and downs, some people managed to leave Mexico with a significant other by their side.
“There will be love triangles and squares and hexagons, the comedy that always happens in the sand. It’s just the art of the possible,” says the host Jesse Palmer to Entertainment Tonight before the season aired.
At the show’s finale, Brandon Jones and Serene Russell got engaged, as did Johnny DePhillip and Victoria Fuller, although DePhillip and Fuller have already split. Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby haven’t gotten engaged but are still together.
As Season 8’s only engaged couple, Jones and Russell join a shortlist of “Paradise” love stories, and Palmer thinks the two really have staying power.

Michael and Danielle move more slowly, they’re more purposeful, but they work at the speed that they need and it really helps their relationship grow,” he continued, before adding that he was ready to host Jones’s wedding Russell to celebrate when the time comes.
“I was ordained. I got my little book. I already wrote the speech. I’m totally down You just have to let me know and pull out the speech,” he added.

Russell believes she and Jones will be the next Bachelor in Paradise couple to tie the knot
While there are a few people who might tie the knot from past seasons of “Paradise” in the years to come, Russell and Jones are confident they’ll be the next to tie the knot.
“It’s us!” Russell told Us Weekly when asked which couple would be getting married next.
“Is anyone else there? Do you know something we don’t?” Jones asked.
The latest Paradise couple to get married were Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt. They had a surprise court wedding in October 2022, according to People magazine.
“We’re still planning a big wedding next fall, which we’re already planning, but since everything is so public in our relationship, having a private moment made both of us feel so special and intimate,” they told the outlet in one explanation at that time.
Couples from other seasons who are also set to marry include Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller Keyes, Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin, and Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs.
