While attempting to park, a truck crashes into a Chinese restaurant in Jeffersontown

According to the Jeffersontown Police Department, a truck crashed into a Jeffersontown restaurant Saturday evening. In the photo above you can see the truck crashing into the Jumbo Buffet on South Hurstbourne Parkway near the Stony Brook AMC Theater. Police say the truck was the only vehicle involved and the driver said the brakes failed as they pulled into a parking lot. Police said no injuries were reported and that the truck crashed through the front door and windows of the restaurant. Jumbo Buffet will remain open while the damage is assessed and repaired.
