Who has the most nukes and when were they used?

After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the world about the country’s military force and nuclear arsenal.
In a statement, Putin spoke world leaders who could “face consequences greater than any you have faced in history” if they considered “intervening” in the conflict.
Now, people are wondering which country has the most nukes and have they been used before?
Who has the most nukes?
According to statistics from Stockholm International Peace Research Institute As of January 2021, Russia has the largest nuclear arsenal in the entire world.
That number now stands at 6,257, while the US has 5,550 nuclear weapons, according to the latest estimates.
However, Russia has 1,625 warheads that are actively deployed, which means they are mounted on missiles or on other bases where forces are active.
The US has 1,800 actively deployed warheads, according to the same statistic.
Other countries with nuclear weapons are China (350), France (290), Great Britain (225) and Pakistan (160).
Have they been used before?
Nuclear weapons have only been used twice in history – both times used by the United States During the second world war.
On August 6, 1945, the United States dropped the first bomb on the city of Hiroshima, Japan, killing 80,000 people. Thousands more died from radiation exposure.
A second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki three days later, killing 40,000 people.

Does Ukraine have nuclear weapons?
No, Ukraine does not have a nuclear arsenal according to the latest statistics but it did have some after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
The country decided to destroy them according to the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, Guaranteed to include from Russia against threats to the country’s political independence.
Ukraine had about 1,900 strategic nuclear warheads before they were destroyed.
