Who is Aly Michalka’s husband?
Per Hello!, Aly first met her now husband, the cameraman Stephen Ringerin 2012.
The two worked together on the set of the award-winning independent romantic comedy Redwoodtree and the rest was history. Stephen popped the question in July 2014 and almost a year later, the two tied the knot in Portofino, Italy, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Though the couple kept the ceremony under wraps, she gave her followers a glimpse of their wedding day in a sweet tribute to her husband on their one-year anniversary Instagram.
“Happy one year anniversary baby…that really was the best day ever,” she captioned a collage of photos. “What an incredible group of friends and family we have who came all the way to Italy to be a part of our special day. You are my King.”

Born in Dallas, Texas, Stephen rarely posts photos of himself. However, the same cannot be said of his muse. His Instagram feed consists almost entirely of portraits of his wife, and TBH it’s pretty cute.
In the past, Aly said ell that Stephen also inspired her work. In fact, it was Stephen who suggested to Aly and her sister that they release their album in 2017. ten years.

“My husband encouraged us to return to music. He saw us singing and writing all over the house, so he encouraged us to get back out there and write music and perform… [Finally] we were just like, ‘okay, let’s try this one last time,'” she told the magazine in 2017.
The couple have collaborated on several projects. Among them is the dramedy from 2015 Weepah way for now, which was written and directed by Stephen and which starred Aly and AJ as the film’s lead actresses. Stephen also directed the music videos for Aly & AJ’s songs “Hothouse”, “Slow Dancing”, “Pretty Places” and “Joan of Arc on the Dance Floor”.
