Get to know Amina Muaddi

36-year-old Amina has become Hollywood’s go-to shoe choice.

The shoe designer and entrepreneur is known for creating a range of shoes for a range of celebrities under her eponymous brand.

Half-Romanian and half-Jordanian, Amina grew up in Italy. The talented designer also has experience as a celebrity stylist, but in 2012 her focus was shoes.

Amina co-founded the Milan shoe brand Oscar Tiye, but always wanted to have her own label. By 2017, she had a full-fledged design line.

How she met Rihanna

Amina was introduced to Rihanna by the singer’s stylist, Jahleel Weaver.

The musician soon fell in love with Amina’s designs and even hired her to design shoes for her Fenty drop.

“Fenty approached me because Ri liked what I was doing and she wore my shoes and she rocked them flawlessly,” Amina said Harper Bazaar.

Praise the singer in another interview with Fashion, said Amina: “She is such a nice person. She sent me some Fenty clothes when she started her own label – I feel great wearing them. There’s this swagger, you feel like you’re channeling Rihanna.”

Dua Lipa and Kendall Jenner are among other celebs who love Amina’s signature kick-flare heels.

A look at the shoe designer’s Instagram

With more than a million followers, Amina’s Instagram features a number of celebrities sporting her designs.

Her latest post features pregnant Rihanna in Ursina Pump. Earlier this week, she posted a picture of KylieJenner in her custom-made tall boots that the reality star wore to the premiere The Kardashians.

A celebrity in her own right, Amina has also shared several stunning shots of herself in designer outfits and shoes.
