SNL star Kenan Thompson and wife Christina Evangeline have sadly split after 11 years of marriage.

That Stars tied the knot in 2011 and share two children – daughters Georgia Marie, 7, and Gianna Michelle, 3.

Sources close to the couple shared the news TMZ. The outlet also reveals that Kenan and Christina have been separated for more than a year.

Who is Christina Evangeline?

Christina, 33, is a model, actress and interior designer.

Unlike her hugely popular ex-partner, the mother of two prefers to keep a low profile and mostly stay out of the public eye.

Christina also keeps her interior design career off social media. The star has over 20,000 Instagram followers at the moment and she often shares pictures with her children and family on the social media platform.

SNL star Kennan Thompson and his wife have split

While Kenan, 43, and his wife Christina, who is 10 years younger, have done so reportedly separated neither of them has filed for divorce in a year.

The both are to be told successfully raising their daughters together in the last 12 months.

The couple dated for four years before wedding in November 2011 at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.

They kept their marriage and personal life fairly private, despite Kenan’s fame. However, during an interview With The Tonight Show As host Jimmy Fallon last year, the actor opened up about his wife’s initial reaction to his sitcom kenan.

How did the couple meet?

Just like many showbiz romances, Kenan and Christina met through industry connections. It was talent manager Danny Estrada, who first introduced the couple.

As early as 2011, a source close to the couple said Us weekly: “[They’re] very happy. They lived together as a couple and looked forward to sharing the moments with close friends. She was thrilled and a beautiful bride.”

Kenan and Christina welcomed their first daughter, Georgia Marie, in June 2014, and their second child, Gianna Michelle, joined them in August 2018.
