Who is the voice of the alien mothership in Zombies 3?

After Disney’s first two Zombies films dealt with the reality of brain-eating undead and werewolves terrorizing the town of Seabrook, the newly released Zombies 3 has something even more extraordinary in store.

The film sees Seabrook fall victim to an alien invasion. Several hyper-intelligent beings appear on site to join in the town’s upcoming cheer.

Of course, all incoming aliens must come in their own spaceship, and in Zombies 3 this ship is known as the Mothership. It has a cheeky and sarcastic personality all its own.

Mothership’s voice will be familiar to many Zombies 3 viewers, but who is the actor that fans are hearing?

Alien invasion in Zombies 3

Zombies 3 continues the story of zombie soccer player Zed and cheerleader Addison. It follows them as they begin their senior year at Seabrook High.

After years of strife, the city has finally become a safe haven for zombies, humans, and werewolves. Both Zed and Addison are looking forward to the next phase of life, college.

Before the pair can begin their new adventure, there’s one last thing to do in Seabrook as the town prepares to open its brand new Celebration Pavilion. Addison invites a variety of cheerleading teams from around the world to an international cheer-off.

However, the competition also draws the attention of a group of intergalactic misfits as a spaceship full of aliens arrives.

The alien trio of A-Lan, A-Li and A-Spen are apparently here to compete in the cheer. Though the residents of Seabrook quickly grow suspicious of the newcomers, realizing they may be seeking more than friendly competition.

Who speaks the alien mothership?

RuPaul Charles, better known as RuPaul, voices the alien mothership in Zombies 3.

Born on November 17, 1960 in San Diego, California, the 61-year-old is one of the most famous drag queens in the world. He is perhaps best known as the host of RuPaul’s Drag Race and its various offshoots, where he has won an incredible 11 Emmy Awards – a Guinness World Record.

RuPaul rose to fame in the 1990s after earning his big break as a singer. His 1993 album Supermodel of the World put him on the radar, earning him 109^th place on the US Billboard 200.

As of 2022, RuPaul has released a whopping 14 studio albums, the most recent being Mamaru, which was released in early January this year.

Aside from singing and appearing on an endless string of reality TV shows, RuPaul is also an accomplished actor with more than 90 roles IMDB.

In addition to appearing in Zombies 3, RuPaul has also appeared in roles such as Girlboss, BoJack Horseman, The Simpsons, Broad City, Netflix’s Grace and Frankie, AJ and the Queen, Chicago Party Aunt, and Amphibia.

RuPaul’s performance as Zombies 3’s mothership certainly surprised fans, and many took to social media to share their thoughts.

A confused fan on Twitter asked: “Quick question. Why is RuPaul in Zombies 3?”

While another disbelieving fan wrote: “RuPaul is in Zombies 3 and he’s playing the mothership. I know that sounds like a lie, but it’s real, this is real life.”
