Who plays Dmitri “Enzo” Antonov in “Stranger Things”? Meet the actor Tom Wlaschiha

The first part of stranger things 4 finally arrived on Netflix on Friday (May 27) and many fans have already consumed all seven episodes.

Six months after the Battle of Starcourt, the students grapple with the aftermath and complexities of school life when a new supernatural threat emerges.

Some familiar faces like Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobbie Brown have all reprized their roles – but there are also some new actors.

Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn, Grace Van Dien and Eduardo Franco are some of the newcomers as well as Tom Wlaschiha who plays Dmitri Antonov.

Who is Tom Wlaschiha?

Thomas Wlaschiha is a German actor who has been taking the international television and film world by storm lately.

The 48-year-old from Dresden is best known as the leading actress game of Thrones and jack ryanbut has also played in some German productions.

He has performed at the Theater Junge Generation in Dresden, at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and speaks six languages: German, English, French, Italian and Russian.

Tom has over 307,000 followers on Instagram, where he regularly posts photos of his everyday life.

in his acting career

When Tom was 17, he went to Massachusetts as an exchange student and spent a year there studying English and acting – which fueled his acting career.

He had his first acting role in 1995 when he appeared in a German crime series Stubbe – From case to case. In the 90s and 2000s he continued to act in numerous German television shows and films.

The 48-year-old has also had roles in a number of international films including nobody sleeps (2000), symbol (2005), The cloud (2006), Brideshead reunion (2008) and Anonymous (2011).

However, his big break came in 2012 when he was cast in the American drama series game of Thronesin which he played the assassin Jaqen H’ghar.

He has since starred in the 2013 film Hurry up and TV shows Crossing lines, Agatha Christie’s Poirot and jack ryan before you join the cast of stranger things – his biggest role since game of Thrones.

Joyce receives a package with Russian postage containing a mysterious doll. She opens the doll and inside is a piece of paper with a message on it.

The note tells her that Hopper is alive and says, “Hop is alive. He also looks by date. To make a reservation please call 7-415-218-4642… Open Twelve Days PETT No Government Please. Sincerely, Enzo.”

Enzo is the Russian guard holding Hopper, but his real name is actually Dmitri Antonov. He tells Joyce that if they bring $40,000 to Alaska they can be freed.

Stranger Things 4 Part 1 is available to watch now on Netflix. Part 2 will be released on July 1st.
