Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s parents revealed

Smith-Njigba was born on February 14, 2002, which means he will turn 20 a day after Super Bowl 2022.

He was born to father Madda and mother Jami in Texas.

Madda, who regularly shares social media posts about Jaxon’s fledgling soccer career works for the state.

When he’s not assisting Jaxon in games, he’s a firefighter and lifeguard.

Jami, Jaxon’s mother, also works for the state, although not in the emergency response fields.

Instead, she is a social worker.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s parents also have another son.

Canaan Smith-Njigba is Jaxon’s older brother – born April 1999.

He was a left-hander on the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball.

What high school did he go to?

Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s parents kept the family local to the Dallas area as the kids grew.

Indeed, Smith-Njigba is from Rockwall – about 20 miles northeast of Dallas.

He attended Rockwall High School – where his football talent was first revealed.

His high school career ended with 5,346 yards and 82 touchdowns for the team.

He moved to Ohio for college and became a sophomore – 2021-22.

In his November 2021 win over Nebraska, he caught 15 times, setting a new college record.

He matched that in the Rose Bowl with 15 when the Buckeyes won it for the ninth time.
