Prior to the final, Gwen Stefani was the only non-team coach in the running. The remaining contestants were Bodie, Bryce Leatherwood and Brayden Lape from Team Blake Shelton, Morgan Myles from Team Camila Cabello and Omar Jose Cardona from Team John Legend.

The show began with a hilarious skit in which trainers from “The Voice” were on their way to the Mission Impossible-style trophy. In the skit, Gwen almost picked up the trophy before Blake caught her.
