Why Amber Heard was escorted out of court by police after she left the stand

Amber Heard ended her testimony in the defamation case against Johnny Depp on Tuesday, May 17.

The actress was asked by the judge to take a seat next to her attorney after the diversion review was completed.

But there is video from the courtroom, widely shared on Twitter, showing Amber being escorted by police as the judge announced a break.

Fans and trial viewers quickly came to the conclusion Amber “stormed” out of the court after her testimony was finished and that she had to be led out.

What the video shows

Johnny’s attorney, Camille Vasquez, interrogated Amber on the final day of her testimony, and questions from the actress’ own attorney followed.

Many commented that Amber was visibly angry when Camille conducted her cross-examination and that she “stormed” out of court when the judge released her.

The video, which has become the focus of Twitter discussion, shows the actress grabbing a bottle of water and escorted out by police before the judge and jury exit the courtroom.

This has led some to believe that the actress was angry at the end of her statement, prompting her to walk away. But there are others who feel that their departure is perfectly normal since the judge had already dismissed them.

Why Amber Heard was escorted by the police

The ongoing trial is followed by thousands of fans around the world, and there’s always a crowd outside the court.

After completing her testimony, Amber was escorted out of the courthouse by police to “help her evade Johnny Depp’s supporters who had gathered outside,” according to the statement The subway.

Images shared by the outlet show the actress walking toward her car with her head bowed as police watch her closely.

You can see a large number of fans waiting outside the court.

And contrary to all theories that have suggested the Aquaman star was upset or angry, Amber is seen with a faint smile before boarding her vehicle.
