Why Kelly Clarkson Isn’t ‘Looking For Love’ After Divorcing Brandon Blackstock!
Kelly Clarkson I’m very happy being single at the moment!
During one Instagram Live On Friday, the 41-year-old singer got real with her fans and shared that she doesn’t have a boyfriend and isn’t looking for one anytime soon! She shared at the time:
“Do I have a boyfriend? NO! And don’t look. You know why? I love being single. I have two kids, two dogs, three rabbits, a hamster, multiple jobs – it’s a lot going on. And you know, you think you’re going to spend the rest of your life with someone, and you don’t. It’s hard to start over again.”

It’s definitely not easy! In recent years, Kelly has been very vocal about her life after her breakup Brandon Blackstock. She previously joked on her eponymous talk show in December 2021 that she would remain “single forever” as she finds it difficult to recognize “red flags” in partners.
There’s nothing wrong with being single for a while after a turbulent relationship ends! And since ending her marriage, Kelly has been very busy with other aspects of her life — like making a big move from El Lay to New York City with her kids to host her talk show. Kelly said on Today This week the move “helped” her get back on her feet:
“I love living here and I’m a Texas girl so I didn’t think I would like it so much. But you’ll see this face all the time in the park. I love walking around. … I love it here. I think it’s what you surround yourself with.”
