Why Snapchat won’t let you log in and keeps kicking you out
Snapchat is down! On July 12, several people took to social media to express their disappointment when they found that the platform would not let them log in and kept logging them out.
This is not the first time users have faced this problem. A similar incident happened last year, but it didn’t take long for Snapchat to correct it.
In fact, the app has focused on improving the platform by introducing new features.
Why Snapchat won’t let you log in
Snapchat currently doesn’t let you log into your account because the platform has had issues and is currently unavailable, as confirmed on the official Twitter account.
That tweet noted, “We are aware of an issue that is preventing some Snapchatters from logging in. Stay tuned, we’re investigating and working on a fix!”
It seems that users faced this problem about two hours ago. As Snapchat is aware of the existing issue, we believe it should be fixed in a few hours and users can enjoy the platform again.
Snapchat introduces Snapchat Plus
Snapchat Plus provides the user with additional features that are not normally available to them. It consists of exclusive, experimental and pre-release features that can be purchased for $3.99 per month.
Some of the new features included include the history rewatch indicator. This comes with an eye emoji character and allows users to estimate how many times their story has been revisited by others.
Another feature being introduced is the ghost trails on the map, a feature that lets you see where your friends have been in the last 24 hours. It is important to note that users can only access this information if enabled by the other party.
There is also a Best Friend feature that allows you to pin your best friend’s snap.
