Season 6’s official premiere date has yet to be announced, but we’re guessing it will air in late 2022, coinciding with Grey’s Anatomypremiere in the fall. That would allow for more intersections between the firehouse and the hospital.

The air travel episodes have continuously raised the ratings of both shows. Just last season, fans were shocked by the sudden death of firefighter Dean Miller, who was injured in an explosion in a Station 19 episode. However, he was not confirmed dead until the crossing Grey’s Anatomy episode, when he is taken to Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital.
