Will we get Season 3 of Sex/Life on Netflix?

The show garnered an impressive viewership in its first season registration deadline that 67 million households tuned in to the erotic melodrama. However, the second season was not without problems; As Variety points out, Star Shahi spoke to the podcast “Not skinny, but not fat” about the show and admitted that she “struggled with the material” on Season 2 of “Sex/Life.” She added, “I’m not going to put it down, but I definitely didn’t have the support that I had in season one from the people involved with the show.” The series certainly wasn’t well-received by critics given their first season was earned a meager value of 21% on rotten tomatoes.

Even though Sex/Life has ended, fans of the series can still find plenty of sex-positive shows on Netflix, from teen comedies Sex Education and Big Mouth to decidedly adult fare like Easy, Tales of the City, Sense8 and Lovesick. Shahi also starred in the original series of The L Word, which airs on Hulu and Showtime (or you can check out The L Word: Generation Q for a more recent update), and we can see her in the upcoming Red, White and Royal Blue” adaptation, which she describes as a “screwball comedy.” Billie got her happy ending, and there’s plenty of other fish in the TV sea for fans.

All 14 episodes of “Sex/Life” are available now on Netflix.
