Witnesses called after crash on East Lancashire Road on Boxing Day
Police are seeking witnesses to an accident on East Lancashire Road on Boxing Day which left a woman with multiple serious injuries.
When did the crash happen?
Merseyside Police have appealed the road traffic accident involving three vehicles on the East Lancs on Monday 26 December.
At around 6:15 p.m. it was reported that a gray Fiat Punto, a gray Honda Civic and a black BMW 435 were involved in a collision, resulting in a passenger suffering multiple serious injuries.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the collision and anyone who witnessed the incident or has information or dashcam footage that may assist in the investigation is asked to contact police.

“People might have gone for a walk or visited family”
Sgt Simon Duffy of the Matrix Roads Policing Unit said: “This collision happened on East Lancs Road, near Houghtons Lane and at a time when people might be out walking and visiting family. Therefore, we are very excited for anyone who witnessed the incident to please get in touch with us.
“Similarly, if you have dashcam footage or CCTV footage of the area taken by the vehicles involved prior to the collision that may assist our investigation then please contact us.”
