Witney Carson just shared big news with his fans

A DWTS pro just made a big family announcement.

Witney Carson and her husband Carson McAllister are moving to Florida. The Dancing With the Stars pro shared the news on Instagram on March 9, 2023 after weeks of teasing a big announcement.

“Well folks, we’re moving… TO FLORIDA!!” Karson captioned an Instagram post. “As difficult as this change is, I know it’s right for us right now. I’m full of emotions but I’m really looking forward to experiencing this adventure with my little family. I accept the change so here we go 2023!! I will continue to provide updates here, love you all,” she added.

Carson didn’t elaborate on the reasons for the move or if it will affect her time on Dancing With the Stars. The series has been picked up for Season 32 on Disney+, but further information on the start of the season has not been announced.

Carson appeared in season 31 of the series alongside Wayne Brady. The two finished third behind Gabby Windey and Mirrorball Trophy winner Charli D’Amelio.

Witney Carson received support from her DWTS family

Shortly after Carson shared the big news about her family, several of her “Dancing With the Stars” friends and co-workers shared their messages of support.

“So awesome! Congratulations,” wrote per Alan Bursting.

“That’s great !!!!!!!” Added Sasha Farber.

“Witttttts!!!!!!!! This is fantastic!!! Congratulations! oo”, said Peta Murgatroyd.

Carson and McAllister spend some time in the Sunshine State, home of McAllister’s family. Carson and McAllister have made their home in Utah for several years, leaving for months to live in Los Angeles so Carson can keep up on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Carson and McAllister are expecting their second child – a baby boy – in May 2023. Carson made the announcement on Season 31 of DWTS. “I’m so excited to finally announce that Carson, Leo and I are expecting baby #2. I’m so blessed and it just felt like a really, really good time to share it. And I can finally share it! Which is great,” she said on the November 4, 2022 episode, according to Us Weekly.

Witney Carson teased ‘Something Big’ her family was involved with

On Feb. 9, 2023, Carson took to her Instagram feed to tease some news, promising to let her fans in on the secret “soon.”

“Sharing something big with you guys soon…Change is hard but I’m excited for our next adventure with our boys.” I’ll let you know soon, I promise! Have fun until then,” she said captioned a video of her and McAllister at a choreographed dance.

Many fans have been trying to guess what the news could be.

“If you leave DWTS, I don’t want to know.” one person wrote.

“Moving to Florida???” someone else guessed.

“You’re Having Twins” commented a third Instagram user.

In her recent Instagram stories, Carson has debunked all the rumors about the birth of twins.

“Is the announcement twins?” someone asked in their IG Q&A on March 7, 2023.

“Okay a lot of these guesses and I’m just shutting it down now hahaha just a baby in there,” she replied.
