A two-month-old boy may be in “critical” condition and is in the hands of a kidnapping suspect, according to authorities. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation identified the young child on Sunday as Yessiah Finch, and they said he was missing the city of Clarksville. He can stay with Quantez Finch, 30, who officials say is wanted for particularly aggravated kidnapping.

Yessiah and Quantez Finch share the same last name, but authorities did not specify their relationship. The Clarksville Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Law & Crime for more information. The nature of the alleged kidnapping remains unclear, nor why authorities believe the child is in danger.

Officials said Yessiah is black, 1’00” tall, 8 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. According to authorities, he was last seen wearing a long shirt with a sports ball attached.

Authorities said Quantez Finch was black, bald, and had brown eyes. He’s 6’01” tall and weighs 220 pounds, according to TBI.

Officials asked anyone with information to call Clarksville police at (931) 645-8477 or TBI 1-800-TBI-FIND.
