Bernard went on to say that the video that surfaced online jeopardized Myrick’s chance of a fair trial and an unbiased jury, even if the video “did not directly implicate my client,” she told the Fulton County Court.
“While this evidence does not directly concern my client, it combined with all the incidents that have occurred in public and in the courtroom since the beginning of this trial … make it impossible for him to have a fair trial and an honest and truly fair jury and impartial.”
There are two things wrong with this video!

2. How did the footage become public? A CI should be protected. Let this be a lesson for all.. pic.twitter.com/MThbeGzWov— FIRSTAKEMEDIA (@firstakemedia) February 21, 2023
Leaked video shows a YSL employee being interrogated by Atlanta detectives for nearly four hours
The video in question shows a Young Slime Life employee speaking to Atlanta detectives for nearly four hours following his arrest in October 2021.
The footage, which was uploaded to YouTube, among others, has been viewed millions of times since this article was published, according to prosecutors.
During the interview, Woody, born Kenneth Copeland, gave officers information about their ongoing investigation into the YSL gang in exchange for leniency. Copeland has reportedly been dubbed a “rat” and a “snitch” by online commentators, who said he “deserves every bullet he gets.”
The video included a live chat feature that commented on the witness as a “rat” who “deserves every bullet he gets.” The video was also commented on on YouTube and on the witness’s personal Instagram page, calling the witness a “rat” and a “snitch” whose death is justified or even a foregone conclusion.”
It is unclear who leaked the video, but prosecutors wrote that they have “absolutely no interest in leaking this video to members of the public as its dissemination is intended solely to intimidate and harass witnesses solicited by the state.” to testify in a very serious and high-level manner. profile case.”

The co-defendant in question was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison last year for the 2018 murder
Myrick, who goes by the nickname “SetTrip” or “JayMan”, was found guilty of robbery and murder outside a wedding venue in the township of Buckhead last year, with a father dead.
He was sentenced to life in prison without parole last year for the July 2018 murder of Christian Broder, who was shot dead after a wedding.
Officials say Myrick and co-defendant Torrus Fleetwood saw four people waiting to be picked up outside the Capital City Country Club and robbed them at gunpoint.
Myrick’s current trial centers on the case of rapper Young Thug, who prosecutors say is the leader of YSL, a street gang known throughout Atlanta for violence.
Williams’ attorneys, however, maintain that YSL is merely a record label and nothing more.
