Forget fashion week, festival season brings the biggest street (or desert) style moments of the year. Coachella kicks off this week and I’m already mentally preparing for the influx of enviable outfits on my Instagram feed. Although I won’t be wearing my cowboy boots across the Coachella Valley this year, I couldn’t resist checking out the new Zara Festival runway show to come up with hypothetical outfits.
While my favorite pieces won’t see the California sun, I hope my selections can help inspire anyone who needs a last-minute festival fit. This year I’m delighted with the influx of knitwear – dresses, matching sets and shoulder bags are all fair game. Zara’s website has so many knitting options you could make them your signature festival look without ever repeating a piece.
I expect the outfit vibes at Coachella (and music festivals in general) this year will be more relaxed than in previous years. Simple denim cut-offs and classic ribbed tank tops will rule the crowds and accessories will be the key way to stand out. Zara has plenty of eye-catching jewels to give your outfit a fashion boost. Read on for all my favorite festivals and please don’t forget to pick them up

Wide-leg cargo pants
Cargo pants are one of the biggest pants trends for summer. This pair would look great with a crop top and a pair of platform sandals.

Draped crop top
Speaking of crop tops, this light blue option would look amazing with an equally bright mini skirt or cargo pants layered over it.

Denim skort
Micro mini skirts are certainly having a moment and this denim skort is a festival-friendly take on the trend. Also, it comes in three colors if you are looking for a matching outfit moment with your friends.
